What have I learned from the movie: 'Hop'

It is Easter! Happy Easter everybody!
Today my lovely Mum and I enjoyed ourselves with a lovely gourmet. It was awesome.
And what else is there than watch an Easter themed movie? And what other movie is there than 'Hop'?

This film came out in 2011, made by the same team that came up with 'Despicable Me' and even though I may be 24 years old, I still love those movies. So, obviously, today was a 'Hop' day. And since I try to learn from everything around me, including movies, I'm trying to find some lessons in this movie. So this is what i learned today:

1. The Easter Bunny lives on Easter Island
2. The Easter Bunny can talk English
3. He is a secret drummer
4. Totally against my traditional upbringing, apparently the Easter Bunny delivers all the chocolate and candy instead of the adults buying it in store.
5. E.B. is the Easter Bunny's nickname
And last but not least:
6. 'I Want Candy' is E. B.'s favourite song.

Now, I could have gone my entire life without this knowledge, but ain't it fun knowing this? Get your copy of Hop on dvd or blu-ray to see what I'm taking about. Trust me, it's awesome!

Starting analyses on literature

Whenever you get handed a novel that you have to read for school, I seem to have this thing against it. I can't keep focused on the story because in the back of my mind I keep thinking about how this is mandatory and not just for my enjoyment.
So, how in the world am I going to handle having to read all these short stories for school?

I honestly don't know. So far though I have enjoyed the ones they handed to us. They aren't too long. Although I have noticed that with the entire class being there I read slower and tend to take longer to concentrate on the story at hand.
As far as I know I'll have to remember how to analyse a story and actually do it for a test. I'll keep at it and keep you posted as I get sucked in deeper into the world that's called 'the short story'
