Kpop

I thought I had been listening to this genre for a lot longer, but I just re-read my post about finding Cdramas around Christmas time 2017, and I remember I truly started listening to Kpop after finding Love 020. Over the past 2 years I have gotten to know only a fraction of the amount of Kpop groups that are out there. I want to share my thoughts about them with the entire world, and because of that I'll use this page to post my top 10 groups as well as tips regarding songs I currently love. Here is my top 7 (because I find it too hard to make a top 10):

#7: Got7

This group is amazing! The 7 members have such charm and they are all so talented. I am actually going to their concert in Amsterdam!!! AND I'M SO EXCITED! This group (갓세븐) has been around since 2014 and have released 13(!) EPs, and that is not counting their full length albums!
Song tip: Just Right, If you do, 1º.

#6: ZE:A

This group was the first Kpop group I bough their album. Their song 'Breathe' was so amazing when I first heard it, I couldn't help but watch more MVs and listen to all of their songs. The group has 9 members, and since 2017 they have been inactive and spreading their wings to several other companies. Make sure to look up their solo work cause this group is very talented!

#5: Eric Nam

Eric is a blessing. He has an amazing sense of humor and an incredible voice that goes so well along with it. I found Eric when I watched episodes of ASC, initially for ZE:A and BTS, but Eric shined so bright, it was hard to ignore.
Song tip: Honestly, Runaway, Dream.

#4: Amber

Amber peaked my interest just by her videos on her youtube channel. That got me interested in her music and brought me to F(x) and her solo work. I prefer her solo work, but F(x) is not bad either. Give both a listen!
Song tip: Borders, Shake That Brass, Lost at Sea.

#3: Ailee

Ailee is such a powerhouse and amazing artist. She debuted in 2012, but has sung several tracks before that with other artists. She has an amazing voice and has won several episodes of Immortal Songs.
Song tip: I Will Show You, Room Shaker, U & I

#2: The Rose

The Rose   (더 로즈) are fairly new since they debuted in 2017, but they have been on two world tours since then. I have been a fan since their first debut album!
Song tip: Red, Sorry, She's in the rain.

#1: BTS

BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan / 방탄소년단) are a boy group with 7 members, who debuted on June 13, 2013. They are very popular now, so I couldn't score a ticket to their first Amsterdam concert ever. Yes, I am bittered about this! I have such great love for this group and I love that my husband also doesn't mind listening to them.
