Top 10 books

#10 - Little House On The Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder
This is a book that I read for the first time when I was still a kid. I was watching the series on television and was excited to find out it was also a book series. This is the first book out of 9 but it can be easily read on its own.

#9 - Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (Zoella)
I read this book when I was in the UK last year. I loved the writing style and the story itself. There was some controversy about Zoe not writing it herself but having it done by a ghost writer. Honestly, do you mind if you like the book? Read it, its a nice read.

#8 - The Selection by Kiera Cass
I was browsing in a book store and ran into a set of this series. But I was not sure about if I would like the book, so i decided not to buy the set but the one book instead. Big regret because I fell in love with the series. It is romance, it is a relatable character, kind of a dystopian world and romance (again). If you like romance novels, you will love this one.

#7 - A Walk To Remember - Nicholas Sparks
Nicholas Sparks is one of those go-to writers that will always deliver. He writes romance and tragedy and drama and you WILL fall in love with the characters. This is the first Nicholas Sparks book I ever read. I was in secondary school and this was the second book I ever read in English. Nicholas is a Christian so he always has characters of faith in the books, and this is no exception. Even though the story takes place in the 1950s, you will love it.

#6 - Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
You probably know this one, or you must have been living under a rock the past 10 years. Twilight is about a girl who falls in love with a vampire. He falls for her 2 and their romance lasts for 4 books. I loved it. I was 17 when I read it for the first time and I could relate to Bella. She sounded just like me. You love it or hate it. However, don't let anyone tell you what to choose. Choose for yourself if you like it or not.

#5 - The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger
This book is awesome. I felt so sorry for the lead character and how she gets tossed from one side to another. The character is witty, and so is the writing style. You get an inside look into the world of magazine creation and just get to laugh at how rediculous her boss is sometimes.

#4 - Shokugeki No Soma (Food Wars!) by Yüto Tsukuda
Technically this is a Manga, so people might not consider this a book. I did want to share it with you so that is why it is on this list. Soma Yukihira, the son of a restaurant owner, is sent to a prestigious cooking academy in Japan. Here he has to battle with the best to stay and improve his cooking. It is really funny to read and the drawing style is gorgeous. There is also an Anime out there you can watch. Also a must-watch!

#3 - The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks
Another Nicholas Sparks and I loved this so much I have read it about 3 times already. If i remember it correctly this story was written specifically for Miley Cyrus so she could play the lead character in the movie adaption. The story is heart wrenchingly sad and made me cry. It is a lovely story though and a must read!

#2 - Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L James.
This is a book not suitable for younger readers, when most of the others book on this list are very suitable. The book is famous for its sexual content but that was not the reason why I wanted to read it. I wanted to read it because people were making such a fuss about it. I loved the book, because Ana made me think of myself. At the time I was almost exactly like her, though I had not yet graduated. I like her way of thinking and how devoted she is to this man with his 'strange' tendencies. It is an easy read.

#1 - Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
There is no doubt. After finishing Twilight I was looking for something in the same genre to read. I found this book and started reading it on my laptop. Not too long after that I had a week in the UK where I got my hand on all of the books released at the time and I read them all in about 3 weeks tops. Rose is a tough girl with a real devotion to her best friend. To top that she falls for a handsome older man (her teacher Demitri) so besides action it also contains romance. Read it, it's goooooood!
